With mounting rad under cross bar we didn't even have to remove stock rad support or make mounts. If you cut along back side and sides of rad support you will see its two pieces if you cut along back and sides of the top piece you can tap it down to touch the bottom piece and will then in turn make rad perfectly strait up and down not loosing any of the factory strength of having to make new mounts on the bottom for rad
