personally i think so. those ebay gt45's i think are great for single turbo setups, but that 1.00+ ar on them are just too big for twins IMO. im no turbo expert, but, i think that either the on3 70's or 61's would be perfect. the on3 turbos have the 65mm turbine wheel which is small enough to spool the turbos quick enough and you can get them in .68ar housings. im doing on3's 61mm turbos because they'll support 1000hp and spool quicker than the t70's.

That would be too bad. They would only be $500 shipped to the door. **** I paid that much just for a rebuild. They would still be about $175 cheaper for the pair with shipping and price difference. I do have a nitrous kit I could use to spool them. I also use a pretty aggressive cam. Not sure if that would matter.

how much street driving do you do? if you do alot of track i say do the gt45's because the nitrous and cam will spool them no prob when you stall it up. only reason im doing the 61mm turbos is because my s10 is going to be mainly street driven so i want something thatll spool on the highway instantly and will still be able to boost launch w/o nitrous.

I do some street driving but I don't drive too crazy on the street. I usually have my young kids with me ages 8, 6, 5, 4, and 3 months. It doesn't take much to give them a thrill. Definitely not worth the risk. As long as it would drive on the street I wouldn't car too much about instant spool. I would be willing to give up a lot of street manners to be able to perform at the strip. I want a car that can be driven anywhere and run 5's on a junk yard motor. Chinese turbos even makes it better.

just do the gt45s, im sure itll be a little laggy, but when it does hit, you better hold on!!!
theirs 5.3s with 88mm turbos and they spool them with nitrous, im sure you can do the same. nitrous solves everything!!

I might be able to order these in a couple days now!

I think I will need to make some brackets to hold those. lol I just used the mild steel from the exhaust to hold up the PTE62's. Those look a lot bigger. Room isn't an issue but it will definitely need some type of bracket.

It's kind of hard to go against 71 chevy. He has done this and run some damn good times. A good point is the 70's would bolt right on with no modifications. The GT45's would need some modifications and definitely need the nitrous. So probably is just better to sale the nitrous kit cheap and get the ON370's. This way it would be good on both the street and the strip.
Lots of good input but I'll go ahead and give the on3 70's a shot first.
