oh! my bad. then why is your CR so low? are you using stock LS1 MSL gaskets?
you are right though, that 1.15 AR is probably killing your boost reponse. Your 4.10s are also killing your boost building. The 3.53s will really help out with that. Id go with 3.20 range to helpout more.
im sticking with my stock rearend for now with 2.73s. lol i know, tickign timebobb, but i dont slam on my car constantly so its not that bad. Im also automoatic with a 3200 stall.

I'm using the mls 6.0 head gasket. I'm just guessing at my conpression cause a 98 ls1 has 10.0 with a 66cc and thinner gasket correct?
Lol ya the 1.15 is killing the response. The 3.55s are in. I turned it up to 13-14 psi and my gears are just as short as on my cam head setup with 4.10s love it

ah ok, heres the calculator to help you out that alot of poeple around here recommend
http://www.csgnetwork.com/compcalc.html
mind you it gives a close estimate but it seems to be very accurate when i put the stock dimentions in. came out to 10.1:1 for stock LS1.
I used this with 317s and the diffent gaskets. stock .053 (9.6:1), LS9 .051 (9.7:1), and cometics .040 (10:1)

We had a dyno day here in town yesterday and I brought my car there. Car was on 14-15 psi, 13-14 degrees timing, and half 91 half 110 fuel. Car ended up putting down 611 hp and 620 tq. I was very happy with it. Too bad all race tracks are closed with this beautiful weather we've been having.

Well I got my 78/75 .96 on this weekend and I don't have dyno numbers but I have 6 speed and I start building boost and get to full boost at least 800 rmp sooner verse my ol 78/68 1.15. and at full throttle I'm at 14 psi instead of 10-11 with no change to the wastegate. I had to turn it back down. So I know she has less back pressure. Thanks again huron
