Any idea how much power that turbo could make on a LS1 with 317 heads, LS6 intake and custom turbo cam?

Not trying to be a jerk but in the $600 price range, why not go with the very durable BW 400 series off the shelf turbo? Been proven to make the power and last for many many years.

I think the 45 shaft is a larger diameter then the small 76frame turbos.

That's what I was thinking by just looking at pictures of the two...

And...Yes BW 400's for the win...Price wise...

Yea I'm running the 80/77.5. The reason I went with this turbo is Bc at the time I paid $530 shipped. To get a comparable s480 with the 83/75 turbine in T4 I would've paid twice that easy and still this has a bigger turbine and ball bearings on the compressor side. So I don't regret it at all Bc it works extremely well but I would rather have a bw mainly Bc they are built second to none and are very upgradable. But for the price I couldn't pass it up and I'm sure it will support anything my 5.3 can take

****, for that price, you can't beat it. Hell, if that turbo lets go, you can always get yourself one of the BW units and bolt it up; assuming you have room that is. I've heard the BW units are quite large.

BTW, can you still get them that cheap?
