You have to do something for a harder launch.
First try footbraking it as high as you can without moving. Next try flashing the converter.
Your coverter should give you at least a 3000 launch, big improvement from 1500 rpm
If your car doesn't hook, a pair of drag slicks will do the trick without breaking the bank on suspension mods

Try reading..........I load the drivetrain to 1500 and the converter flashes to 3800.

Not one person has had any advice pertaining to launching a full weight procharged car. Obviously if you have never had one you don't know. I will figure it out myself.

Well since I don't have any of those I guess I can't try them. Maybe you can answer this how much timing do you leave on?

With my tune at WOT my timing is set to 21*. I run 93 oct pump gas and a 70 meth/30 water with an Alky Control Kit. My advice is ditch the 4L60 for a 4L80E or TH-400 with a trans brake.

1. Stage the car
2. Hold the brake down with everything you got.
3. Push the gas pedal down until the rear will just barely hold.
4. When the light turns green release the brake and push the gas down the rest of the way.

Im going to assume you know what to do on the other end of the track even though there is no stop sign or red light.
