At 10psi as Bob@Brute Speed said there won't be any trouble. Be wary though of trying to really pour the coals to it with more than 15-17psi. Many users will have good luck doing something for a while and get comfortable with it and then one day it turns around and bites them.

Just keep the boost and timing on the conservative side to keep cylinder pressure down within reason and you'll be ok. That is until 10psi isn't enough...and that will happen quicker than you think

You guys crack me up.

Just because joe blow ran xxxxxhp with the head doesnt automatically fix the fact its a garbage casting for boost. LSA heads are not much more money, and substantially better castings.

They definitely look a lot less porous. Deck is the same thickness?

I just bought a NEW set of LSA's for 425.00 shipped to my door. Next to a L92 head, they look like a billet piece No freeze plugs and what not..

I'm assuming those were bare heads right? Where did you get them from?

I would agree with Louis here, why even bother with a L92 head with the LSA head available. Pretty much the same LS3 port design but MUCH STRONGER.

850/800 to the tires. 402, ls3 heads, novi 1500 at 13.5psi. You couldn't have beaten on a Street car harder than I did. Heads worked great.

I got them from NIGHTMARE BREED MOTORSPORTS LLC. They are out of Midland Texas. They are bare, but that is the only way I buy em..

I have a set of L92's and I have these. The LSA's are A356T6 and they are Rotocast. NO POROSITY. Look billet like..

How does the LSA head compare to the L92/LS3 head when the compression ratio is the same? Any ideas?

They will murder a 317.

There is a wing to aid in swirl and emissions on the valve guide, because of the roots blower. we machine these out when we put them on standard manifold cars, and even the ZR1s, we remove them with out issue.

I honestly dont have a junk LS3 and LSA casting to cut apart here. I will see what I can do though, because science is knowledge, and knowledge is power.
