At what level did your heads lift?

Lb's of boost aren't going to tell you anything. You should be thinking tq & hp

as said i had noticed coolant was sprayed over engine bay not much but noticeable if you looked close enough !!! down near chassis rails etc more on drivers side as pass side would have hit more manifold /dump pipe and melted !!!! guessing he would have been able to tell looking at gaskets/ heads and said they were leaking from both sides !!!! also thats why i qouted mph and weight to give an idea of hp !!!! cheers

I pushed at 14psi and 24* of timing
I was fine at 23psi and 20* of timein

Stock heads with ARP bolts and cometic gaskets.

That's where mine was and leaking until i replace with ls9 head gaskets. Hope they work for around 30psi at 1200+rwh.

mine was blowing out the cap to the overflow tank and spraying all over the place. Pistons and everything were fine though

PSI is only a factor in the overall "will it push water" conversation.

Broke a 5.7l block @17psi, 720whp 740wtq , arp studs tourqed to 80lb, cometic head gaskets stock 241s, 15* timing... Now 6.0l l92 heads arp studs cometics, same stud tq on 16psi same power same timing no issues....

With 22 psi 18* timing 317 heads std GM truck gaskets started to push a little. That was a studded 2001 block with the long head blts. 2006 block with short studs, 26 psi with 18*, 317 heads and ls9 gaskets no water pushed, and not a hint of psi in cooling system. I think the ls9 gaskets make a huge difference as well as the short head stud.
