if you are going to listen to martin (who is right). video and log all your launches and use a constistant launch rpm and watch your boost. dont go out there and adjust shocks launch at 2k. do another adjustment and launch at 3500... you will be chasing your tail. you will get to a point where you can start fine tuning when you start hooking.

Thanks alot for all the info. I have learned that Ive never had a car with this kind of power before! My 87GN dont make the touque this engine does, I added a big sway bar to the rear, and retune the car for lanuch, and it go's crazy with the new tune, and the 2 step. Tried a set of M/T28-10.5 slicks, and the car moves around to much for me(scary), put the M/T DR on and the car go straight as a arrow, but spins thru 1st gear, and alot of 2nd. Im going to get the stiff side wall slicks, but not sure of what kind i need to order. I would like to try the Hossiers slicks, anyone know which have the stiff side wall? Also plan to get the shocks, as budget will allow. Also the car comes thru the 1/4 at 6000rpm, on the MTDRs, what size slick should I get? I would like the car to be around 6500rpm thru the trap, so 28inch slick is what I need to stick with right? I have 3.08 gear, TH350, car weight3940.

MT 3055S tires, or if you have the patience for it, stick with the radials, it will probably run quicker/faster once you get it dialed in.

He wasn't spinning before. It was a turd out the hole.

Changed the tune, now it's spinning.

You didn't have to call your car a turd again I took care of that for you!

Honestly though, you went from 2.1 60's not spinning a lick, to blowing through first and second gear. I'd say it's making more power off the line now, just got to get it to hook up and go.

Suspension time!
