Yes sir, ran their Quick 16 program and some heads-up stuff.

Thanks again for the compliments, I think that's what keeps me motivated to keep working on it. So far I have done everything at least twice. Right now we are struggling with an aftermarket EFI harness.

My original plan was to run it on pump gas or e-85 and use methanol injection.

My friends talked me into running an intercooler. I messed with radiator location a couple times trying to fit and air-air in front of it.

Polished some more parts along the way.

I couldn't find an air to air intercooler that was going to work. Welded a couple air to water coolers together and this is what I came up with:

I got the alternator mounted, I hope it works:

Very nice work! I have a tender place in my heart for Vega's as i've had a couple. How did this run at the track with some of the other combo's and what are you hoping for with this build?

Thanks. It was never really fast. The nitrous motor ran 9.3x's in the '90's. The alcohol injected motor was cool because it would run all weekend and never have to touch it. It ran 9.80's on a good day. The blown motor was a ton of fun. Best pass in Denver was 8.19 @ 171. Knowing what i know now, it could have gone alot faster, power wasn't a problem, wheelies were. I hope the turbo motor runs in the 8's and I can drive it to work a couple times a week.

Vibrant, they were kinda pricey, but they don't weigh nothing, lol.

I have got to quit being lazy and start polishing some of my underhood aluminum. Do you mind sharing your technique and tools that you use for polishing? Do you coat the polished aluminum with clear?
