Was fuel pressure ever falling off at near 70psi at peak boost?

Yes, it was dropping 5 psi at the end of the pull. I'm going to rewire the fuel pump and try it again.

I saw this car in person the other night and the pics don't do justice. The polishing, and fabrication are 2nd to none. TONS of man hrs in this build and it shows..

Great work Jim. I am pretty sure now I will not post my pictures of my Vega build on the forum as my fabricating skills are more along the line of "Krylon" custom.
Congrats on a great car and a fantastic fab job.

Thanks for the compliments guys, it's been a fun build. I'm still working on it, made some changes and hoping to hit the dyno next month.

Meatheadgn, post pics of your build. I'm sure it's gonna be cool.

Dmeyer, got your messgae today, give you a call at lunch tomorrow.

I watched your burnout vid 4 times. It hits like a freight-train when the turbos come up.

I added tail pipes. Driving an aluminum interior car with exhaust dumped under the car is horrible. It is so much better now. I am going Dynamat and carpet the interior soon, that will help also. I need to finish polishing the tail pipes, I built them out of aluminum.

Don't mind the beat up old tin in the back, it's getting replaced soon.

Met up with Joe Barry and his bad *** Drag Week '56 Chevy and cruised to lunch. I put about 40 miles on my car with no problems. I haven't driven the car that much since 1998.

I haven't updated in a while. I am registered for Drag Week. I have to run Unlimited, which I'm not competitive for, I just want to finish.

I finally replaced the slicks with a set of radials:

PTC set me up with one of their turbo converters:
