How to keep inside of car cool in summer with a truck mani turbo kit? (no a/c)

I think the cooling seats I found would be very helpfull for one thing. I'm looking for like one of those portable a/c units you see for small houses, but one you can put in cars that will run off 12 volts.

Would something like this work? It uses 115v ac and 6amps. I already have the dc - ac power inverter in my car that I have used to charge a computer on long trips.

I fly, and this is a solution to that problem in a plane. They are very pricey because they are associated with flying, but I'm sure it would be easy to build with a few parts and an igloo cooler.

LMAO!!!! No, traffic isnt too bad around me, or else I probably would not have ran a truck manifold kit. Most traffic I see are the contiuous red lights I face when cruising around town.

So you're going to end up spending more money to re-engineer an A/C setup than it would have cost to buy a different kit. What about a top mount compressor setup? **** ditching the A/C, spend the money and buy a kit that can keep or build your own kit.

$400 is still going to put me 1000's below any other turbo kit that retains a/c that I have found.... Have you looked at the huron speed turbo kit group purchase? Not to mention he is getting us turbo's and other parts very cheap!

It would be cheaper if you go ahead and convert the passenger's side to a C6 manifold, or you could modify a 2010 camaro's driver's side exhaust manifold and have it facing forward on the passenger side. It may take some work to fab it, but it would be so worth it at the end.
