Pump Gas boost limit.. Question about 91 octane gas. Approx. how many lbs. of boost can you run on without meth. inj. on straight 91 with a good intercooler and charge temps in the low 100's. I want to do e85 but can get a smokin deal on a pro systems gas carb. I run 110 race fuel in my turbo 2 stroke snowmobile but would perfer not to on the street, Or should i just get the e85 carb.
Every combo will be different when it comes to boost levels. How much power and what combo are you looking to make work? e85 carb plus boost within reason doesnt even need an intercooler. Look on prochargers website or some of the dynomax shoutout info on e85. There are BBC cars running 22+psi with no intercooler and a carb on 500+ci motors making 1200+ rwhp.
