Default 5.3, On3 76, 2" crossover?

Planning the hotside soon and I have access to 2" weld ells and sch 40 pipe. I'm using a LH6 5.3, 799 heads, TU1 cam, Camaro manis, On3 journal 76 .96 AR. I know most people use 2-1/4 or 2-1/2, will the 2" be too small? I searched thru a few threads regarding cross over size, and followed some of Phil's math, but I'm still unsure. This will be track only, and most likely non-intercooled.

This shouldn't be a big deal at all... the freakin Exducer on that turbo is 74.5mm (roughly 2 15/16"). You're stuffing two banks of 4 cylinders into this unit. I don't see a 2" (I personally, wouldn't go any smaller than that, so be sure to use mandrel bends, or you'll be closer to 1 3/4" after bending) being a problem with that turbo on a 5.3. Should be a fun setup!

I used 2.5" on my 76mm 5.3 setup and it works awesome. Not that you'll have a problem with using 2", but any reason your using that over a 2.5" pipe??

Just go for the schedule 10 2.5" stainless. The manifolds are 2.5 right?

The 2" weld ells and pipe are free, that's the only reason why I considered them.

2" will be fine. We have 2" hotpipes on a s475 6.0l and it works very good.

2" weld els have an inside diameter of 2.1xx so roughly 2 1/8" IDK if being sch. 40 changes that or not but thats what my sch. 10 2" pipe is. You'll be fine with that. That turbine will be the restriction if anything. My log's are 2" sch. 10

After some checking, the pipe is schedule 10. And the outlet of the LS3 manifolds are roughly 2-1/8".

2" sch 10 is perfect. If you are going to use v bands, buy 2.25"
