im looking back here and we picked up the car on the 5th
pulled the motor out of the ventura, studded it and swapped the heads that night

the 7th we dropped the motor in and brought it to my garage, tow truck broke a few times during the day and its like 3miles away to my house haha, sheesh spent most of the day fixing that ****** thing

got the motor in, turbo kit modded, and most things going like turbo bolted in and drain started etc, evaluated some things and figured out what we needed.

tuesday the 9th i wired the car at like 2am in the morning had some late nights at work and just hammered this out after i got home got done at 4am megasquirt and msd box done, just had to wire the fuel pumps and ****.

then yesterday the 11th we gathered our fuel pumps and lines and fittings and got that squared away, threw in 2 gallons of gas from the mower tank. and hooked up the fuel pump relay, and the starter and some other things and viola.

then we made the downpipe and wg dumps out the hood and welded it up.

cut up some 3.5 inch exhaust tubing and threw it in there today, so now the cold side is hooked up!
we also filled it with water and warmed it up to 160 for now, cooling system looks good, gunna wire the fan and some other things tomorrow, maybe even a video update.

we got the coolant system all buttoned up and fan wired, car comes up to temp and no leaks so that is nice, also we installed the meth pump and hoses, wiring etc, just gotta put the nozzles in the intake elbow.

exhaust side of the turbo was throwing oil, and never has before, we figure its because no restrictor so we added one to the car, but its gunna take a while burning this **** off to see if it worked out, there isnt a puddle of oil in the downpipe now so i think it helped haha...

other than that we were gunna toss in colder spark plugs and some hood pins and we should be good to go.

Did you get your Cam????

You guys trip me out with all the cool **** you do, I wish I had your mechanical aptitude because I have to pay through the nose to get my stuff done and at the same time they are trying to **** you to maximize their profits instead of building it to your best interests! Anyway cant wait to see this thing run because I have a line on some super low mile, super cheap 4.8's like ones w/ 3-5k orig mi!
