Default ebay gt45 and ls1
Do you guys think this turbo will choke an ls1 or kick *** i know are great on a 5.3 but im thinking maybe the turbine might be a bit small for the extra cubes also do any of you know what my compression would be with 317 heads thanks in advance

it will be fine, i had one on a 6.0 with l92 heads.

Yea. It'll do fine. Their was a guy on here with an ls2 making some good power with it.
You gota remember it has a 77/87 mm turbine.

The small compressor will limit the power. The biggest one I saw was 68mm.

From some of the quarter mile times that are being reported on here with this turbo, I can't see where 600hp is a problem...

I'm pretty sure the ebay gt45 that everything is running is only 68/87
If it was 77/87 I would be buying one myself.

we have done over 600whp thru an automatic on our gt45 4.8 and 5.3 cars

he said turbine as in hot side
compressor is a 68mm for sure ive measured mine haha

The turbine is 77 I believe. 87 may be the inducer.

im planning on running a gt45 on my 1998 ls1 camaro. i have 243 heads though the 317's will drop your compression and its gonna be a dog outta boost if your only aiming for 600 i would mill those heads a little

Had one on a LS6 cam 6.0 and it kicked *** on the street. 600rwhp at 14psi. It was a Master Power but exact same specs.
