the pt8847 uses the the garrett gt8847 wheels but in the regular pt88 housings

the regular pt88 uses the old school TV garrett wheels

the pt8847 is a better setup, more money

the bearing housing is a bit different and the pt8847 is not quite as tall/long overall as the regular pt88

I think I made up my mind. I'm going to try out the 76gts for just a bit then upgrade to a pt8847. Should fit right in besides the downpipe.

I too think you can get am 8.99 at your weight with the 76GTS. My raceweight is 500+lbs more than you and I've been 9.8 on only a 1.65 60'. I'm on a 370 too and the turbo still isn't out of breath.

Good to know. I'm just guessing on my cars weight. I need to get it weighted when I get it back. I have a feeling the car is going to make a ton of torque so I will really need to work on adjusting my suspension to get it to hook.
