That actually sounds really good. Is the flowmaster really straight through or is it baffled like the old designs?

Yeah the open pipes are a bit much for me these days. If it was an all out race car that was not going on the street it would be fine.

Straight through. It is 5" round and 12 long with a 4" hole through the center.

Here's mine. 4" from the turbo to the tunnel with a cutout in between that I barely ever open... lol

Here's a picture to give you an idea of where it gets reduced.

I have an open dp and its really not that loud but i did only have a small cam as well. The wastegate opening is about the loudest and any exhaust leaks youll hear over the dp

I have a single 4" Dynatech Split-Flow dumped on my Fox Body...I want to quiet it down at idle & knock out the droan. Thinking of of a Magnaflow round or the Hooker Max Flow. Thoughts?

I am hoping it will be pretty quiet. I mean I want to hear the motor, but nothing like an open pipe. Of course as short as it is with as few bends it will probably be pretty darn loud, lol. I went with the 4" round magnaflow with overall case length of around 20"-24" I believe. That was as long as I could fit in that location.

Cool. I guess I am just getting f'ing old. Stupid loud exhaust no longer excites me. When I was younger I was all into that. I can still remember being 16 years old and a friend and I drilling holes in our mufflers (big holes) to make our cars louder, lmao. We both had 350 motors and semi loud mufflers, but that was not loud enough!

haha If you want it "quiet" run it out the back. But a V8 with a turbo will def excite you! lol I don't know how my exhaust will be for the cops but if its an issue i'll be running one out back also.
