Even with the cast 76mm I am sure it would be fine. Not sure of the difference, but after seeing the comparison of the batmowheel vs the cast Borg Warner, it kinda has me doubting aftermarket billet wheels if there is no proof to back up the claims (compressor map, etc with back to back tests). I bet either one combined with a 92mm turbine wheel would be smoking.

They make a S400SX-76 ETT rated at 1100 with a 1.32ar and a 96mm turbine wheel for only 899

It's an ls9 cam and they only come in the new zr1 vette. You can basically search that vehicle on gm parts and just order a new cam for a vette.

Oh yeah and any turbo like the gt45, s475 are going to be pretty hard to package in the gto. Ask me how I know. I ended up going rear mount with mine.

You'll need to put it on the passenger side in order to get a properly sized dp down the fire wall.

Also doing that you'll need to delete the abs, traction control/cruise box.

I agree with some of the others that the turbine size on the On3 is too small. It will make 600rwhp but Id spend a little more and get a 7675 from Precision or Turbonetics. The big BW turbos arent going to easily fit in your GTO engine bay.

not at all my friend not at all.......

Looking at f-body setups and seeing people stand the rad up and move it forward and delete all the unnecessary stuff under the hood makes me sick with all the space that is available.

In my free time I have been trying to figure how to fit a s475 size turbo under the gto's hood. Best I have came up with is move the condenser and rad forward and put the bottom at an angle to were it leans more towards the fron of the car. Then mount the turbo low in front of the balancer.

Only issue with that is there is nowhere to get the exhaust out the back of the car. It can go out the front bumper but I want no fumes and for it to be quiet again....

I may put an s400 up front. I'll be deleting AC, cruise, and ABS. There's plenty of room if you relocate/remove some stuff. There's tons of room for a big downpipe out the back on the passenger side if the header is ran up instead of down low.

It can be done, just not as easy as a small frame unit.

Here is a friend that stuffed an S475.

Just picked up my ls9 cam for $116 from GM. Thinking about going with a S400SX-76 ETT rated at 1100 with a 1.32ar and a 96mm turbine wheel. Im new to turbos so im not sure if thats a good combo with the 96mm turbine wheel for a 5.3. Anyone have any info?

And I have mine in the driver side

Wow do you know where I can find more pics of this car?

Never seen one done like this actually. Had the same idea last week messing around trying to figure ways to mount a t6 frame turbo up front and just dont want to delete anything expecially a/c.

Looked at moving the rad and seems like the space is there just need to cut the core support up a little. That looks like a **** ton of room though that's for sure.

Only if you want to degree the cam to a specific cam timing. So no if you aren't worried about doing that.
