With 315/35/17 I'd go with 3.42 / 3.50 but if you're planning to run 28' tires later on then 3.70

I ran 4.10's in my 99 TA (rear mount) on a 25.6" tall MT DR, WAAYYYY too short of a gear for turbo. I would have needed to go with a 3.50 or so gear to make that really work, or been better off with a 28" tall DR.

Yeah I probably will have future plans on running 15x10inch slicks out back and skinnies in front. But at first it will be on 17's so 3.42's sounds like the route I must go.

26" tire? how do you like them? ive had trouble finding people running 3.25s with a 6spd cus most gear for the 1/4mi..

Honestly if i was going to stick with what i have i would go back to something like a 3.42. We will see how the twins like the 3.25's.

I run 4.30's on my 6 speed turbo set up, but I will have to change them if I go any faster than 145 mph on the stock bottom end. The Tire is a 29.5x10.5

Seems sluggish down low to me. Maybe because its not melting the tires like it did with the 3.73's

I had 4.10s in mine and I was out of gear at 120 mph. I switched to 3.55s cause strange claimed that's the tallest gear offer for the s60. By ya love the 3.55s. Havt had a chance to run it with the new gears. hopefully Friday
