Need some Turbo Advice Please I am in the market for a turbo but in other words I am new to the turbo field. I have a 6.0 LQ9 with not many mods. It sits at about 385WHP and I want more. I have a 4L80E Tranny built by hughes performance 15,000 miles ago. This sits in my 1985 Chevy C10 so I have a ton of engine bay room for a turbo.. or 2.. I would like to know what the best route to go would be.
I was looking at the STS turbos but seems like they dont get a good review on here? How about the Garrett turbos? Would it be better to go with rear mount or front mount? twins or singles?
What would be a good setup for me? I have a full fab shop so I can do some mods depending on which route I go.
I would love to hear your opinions.
