Well at first when we got it all together the foot brake wouldn't hold me very good even with the dual rear calipers. The brakes have been sitting around and got **** on them I guess. Took it around the block and torched the brakes. After that, it seems like I can hold the foot brake at a lot higher rpm. That is the 3 step and then the 2 step was about 1K more. It is very easy to stage the car. I thought it would be more difficult but way easy. I can raise 2step and 3step if necessary. We have not gotten aggressive with the area under the 2step, so I am sure we could make it even faster if we wanted to. Compression is 10.5:1

3385 with me.
47% rear
53% front (I was in the car so that is what the guy holding the box said. I am sure there are some .x in there but that is close. I have my radiator, and innercooler right on the very front. The innercooler side was 125lbs more on the front and the rear was within 10lbs. I was thinking of adding my 2 25lb lead ballast on the light side front. I need to find some weight in the back of the car to justify adding even more weight. Rules for me are 3350lbs.

I have been talking with Daniel and Madman @ Triangle speed. Daniel was nice enough to answer his cell phone on a Saturday morning and we decided to raise the car up 1.5 inches which put my LCA angle at 3 degrees instead of .5 where it was the night before. I am going to go back half the distance in ride height and slow the extension down in the rear shock so it doesn't just eat the track up. With the added weight up front it should keep it down on a killer track.

When you guys add weight how much do you put out on the nose before you see a difference? My 1.23 60ft was pretty high in the air as well and it only had 1/2 in travel in it at that point. The big wheel stand was with no travel in front at all. You can see in the picture that the tire is really wading up.

We have a little more on the front % wise then you have for when the track is real good.

I wouldnt do 50lbs at once, try 25 first and try to put it as far forward as you can.

The blower car has been alot easier to control in the 60' than the nitrous car ever was.
Hoping to see some 1.14 60' times this weekend if the track is good.

I'm sure Madman will help you get it right.... He sure has us going in the right direction.

Got the car back out on Friday. Got a new personal best while just sneaking up on it.

Off the trailer it goes 1.22 60ft 5.50@13X with no boost controller. This was with an extra 25lbs on the nose from last weekends pan destruction.
Second pass car does a big wheelie so we add 25 more pounds to the nose of the car and tighten her up a little more. By the end of the night the car went 5.17@139 with a 1.21 60ft. The AMS is not doing very much at this point. We are sitting at 3430lbs right now and it is doing fairly well. Now we are going to sneak up on the power and see what this X27588 can do. Should haul *** and we should be in the teen 60ft in no time. We are really having an issue with the 2.41 1st gear and making any kind of boost. Here is a video of most of the night.
