6.2l how come not very many people use the 6.2 engine in boosted application, is it bcuz the others are more available and cheaper, are the 6.2 weak under boost i know this is a dumb question but humor me! i was just wondering this bcuz one of the local blow up doctors [not a very good engine builder] told a friend he had to start with a 6.2 nothing else lol, said friend has more money than god [he thinks] and bought a 6.2
I would say it's just a money thing. I have less money in my forged 370 than it would cost to buy a 6.2 from the junkyard. As far as power goes there's alot of guys making good numbers with s/c and tt ls3 camaros so I would say they can handle power just like any other Ls platform.

Your friend might have been better off in buying a junk L92 and just change out the intake. Probably would be way cheaper. B/c there more vehicles w/L92's than the two models that came with the LS3. (Corvette and Camaro).
