LQ9, D1SC, and 900whp...Is it possible?
Ive heard if you wanna make 900 wheel (reliably) you have to ditch the aluminum block and start with an iron block. I have a 6.0L LQ9 bare block that I was gunna put a fully forged rotating assembly in and make it a 370CI. Then port and polish some 317's and transfer the cam I had in my LS1. Its spec'ed at 233/239 .595/.602 115. Bolt up my D1SC and try to make 16-18psi. It will have a FMIC and be on pump gas. I figured to keep the CR around 9.0:1. Does this seem obtainable?

I would say yes with a bigger blower (F1A) but if you look around some setups haven't been getting that. Your probably going to want to throw some meth with your setup.. pump gas will not cut it!!!

Your compression ratio is too high at 9.0:1 and will limit your pump gas target. Your blower choice means you're going to have to significantly overspin that blower to reach those numbers. Meth is definitely needed since you want to stick with pump gas.
I've run 14PSI on the street with pump gas and so far no issues with it. With meth/water injection I'm sure I could probably hit 16PSI or maybe a little more. But I'm Turbo so let's get back to your blower choice.
The D1SC max rated HP is 925 crank HP. You need at least 1044 crank HP to get you to 900RWHP. With the parasitic losses from a supercharger you really need to hit at least the 1044 crank HP number. You'll have to spin tha blower to say 70-74K RPM. it's only rated for 62K so it's a pretty high change in RPM. You'll have belt issues also I imagine at that point. You really need an F-1 in order to have a hope of reaching your HP targets.

yah i figured i was going to be reaching max impeller speed at that much boost. was just curious if anyone hit those numbers. i can get two flow matched garrett gt40-88r tubros for 2200 that i could probably use or just upgrade to an
