The TR6060 setup is on my list of things to buy.

Seriously? My T56 shifts like crap, but it does have a pos aftermarket shifter. I wasn't a fan of my C5zo6 either. My 2008 was like butter. I have access to a low mile TR6060 for a good price, but haven't decided if I want to build this T56 or get the 6060.

Built T56's are a 50/50 though. If I thought mine could handle 1050rwhp granny shifting I would keep mine. Mine is built, but I am leaning toward a stock TR6060 as its replacement.

mine 56 was built an felt great shifted faster but won't handle the power. my 6060 is bone stock and only 1500 miles. It shifts really good but not as fast as my 56

That's why I'm leaning towards getting this used 6060 and upgrading the mainshaft. I don't ever power shift, and they drive much better on the street from my experience owning 2 vettes with T56's, and 1 with a 6060. Also, as Vince said, the holding power seems to be better. I just don't like the risk of building a T56 when I know I like the 6060 and don't power shift.
