use my 226/234 113+3 cam for my turbo motor???
so i dont really want to sell this cam and i was trying to do some research on how well it would work in a turbo app. i currently have the ls6 cam which does work great, but im going back to auto and wouldnt mind getting a little lope back. i see most "turbo" cams dont really have much split...

Itd work fairly decent if you made some adjustments for it. It has too much overlap for a ls6 style intake. It will rumble pretty good at idle. It looks like some of my blowthrough carb cams i do. They like a little more overlap. Pulls on the boosters a bit harder so you dont have to overjet to get the fuel curve right.
That cam would work better with a single plane intake and installing it on a 106 centerline. If you are running a regular intake... Id like to see the static compression bumped a tick to counteract the extra overlap. With small heads and a long runner intake that overlap should allow it to rpm pretty good even with the ivc closing as early as it does.
Id run it.... its way better than an LS6 cam. Heh
