1. What's the LSA?
2. No, the Vortech kits came with 38's. Duty cycle might be high with the smaller pulleys.
3. No there is not. A few guys have made a custom setup.

I loved my Vortec setup and yeah it will work great. If those are the ford SVO 42's you might get away with them I ran some 50's up to 600rwhp on a H/C set up. I believe they rate those injectors at 45psi and since our base presure is 58 they will flow considerably more etc... GL!

I'd get a cam with a slightly higher LSA

Well. Yea. I was hoping to avoid getting rid of it though. I'll have to ask my tuner I suppose.

Is the Vortech V9 the only Vortech supercharger that will work on a LS1? Would it be possible to run a T-trim, JT-trim, or even the YSI?

We offer several bracket options that will allow you to upgrade to a T-Trim, Ti-Trim and YSi.

I also have in the works a mid engine mounted system that will allow the V-24 cases.

My car still has the 38lb injectors supplied with the kit. They work fine at the power level i'm at.

What size pulley are you running and how much boost? I would love to see a dyno showing boost vs RPM's.

That cam will be just fine at these power levels for sure. A few ppl used to run the GM hot cam with good results. Its not optimal, but he won't pick up a ton from a cam change at these power levels at all.

My pulley is either a 2.62" or 2.65". I'll see what I can do about getting the dyno sheet scanned and posted.

I wonder what size pulley I have. All I know is it's a 9psi pulley haha. Also. Is the aftercooled kit supposed to come with like a Wastegate or something? The only thing I see that I don't know what it is is like a silver canister thing.

They come with a Bosch bypass valve that is black and goes back into the inlet of the blower. I think that is a 3.10" pulley I'd put a 2.75" pulley on there.

Okay! Is it a black canister looking thing attached to a metal piece that has a plug?

I'd also like to see what pulley and boost level you're running. A buddy of mine just bought this same kit from LT1RAY up there. However the car is all stock, with a 3.55 pulley i believe. Also came with a 3.15 pulley so we're tryna get an idea of what boost level it will be at.

A 3.70" is installed on the supercharger and it came with a 3.125" pulley. Bone stock my car made 390 rwhp and that was at 6000 ft.

^^Nice! We're going to begin the install within the next week or two and trying decide which pulley to run. We're barely above sea level here, under 100 ft. I know that we'll pick up power for sure but will it also pick up boost?! If so what boost level do you think we'll be at with the smaller pulley here at sea level?! Also thinking about going speed density...only mod will be a ported TB for now. But plan on doing maybe an LS6 cam, 317 heads, LS6 intake, and Longtubes in the future. Wanna keep it very streetable and safe

Vortech calimed with the 3.125" pulley on a stock motor it would make 8psi. After I installed a set of BBK longtubes and a ORY it only made 3psi on my car with the 3.7" pulley. But you have to understand boost is irrelevant and is only a measurement of restriction. If you went SD and ran a filter straight off the head unit it would produce a nice gain. With a set of LT's and the 3.125" pulley the car should have no problem making 440-460 rwhp. Goodluck and let me know if you need any help!

With my mod list on a completely stock 99 longblock (with 173k miles at the time)and the stock 3.12 pulley running stock maf and stock air lid with a K&N filter it made 6.7lbs of boost and dynoed 412/39x @ 6000rpm. I went to a 2.95 and it made 8.7lbs of boost and 450/438 @ 6000rpm. This is on a dyno jet and STD smoothing 5 is on the dyno sheet. This was done in Memphis, TN. It was mid 90's temp and the stock converter was unlocked. I have also heard that removing the maf and going sd would net some extra boost and more Hp but not sure, thoughts???
