Thanks! Tonight i'll have the dash out, wiring sorted and the intake off the engine. I'm waiting on a cherry picker to get the engine out. I just want to do everything the hard way, instead of using my buddys lift i'm going to make sure every piece of this build is done in my garage.

I almost ordered those heads today from the dealership, but they had some TFS 215's and a fast 90 laying around from the days when i was doing some builds there and they made me a deal i couldn't refuse at all. So now i'll try to sell those items to pay for my top end.
Lol, thanks man. Whatever I can do to help, let me know. I'd love to see another car in the LSX shootout with our stuff in it.

Well it's lunch break time!! I pulled the intake off so far and have started going through the tangled mess also known as wiring. I've made progress but that is harder than i thought to show in pictures. So hopefully my next group of pics will be without any wiring in the car.

I'm really glad i made a harness with a weather pack connector, this was the only wiring i had to unhook to remove the intake

It's way too messy back there, this won't happen again

Not really in the best shape now is it??

Wiped down and taped up

And for fun, tug-o-war on a new xmas toy led to a missing ear

Ohh no, poor squeaky bear toy thingy

I got my 2 year old 70lb pit bull one of those Kong Wubba's and she had that ******* toy chewed apart in less than 30 minutes. They should put a disclaimer on those p.o.s. that they aren't meant for dogs with larger than cocker spaniel sized mouths.

Did you decide which heads you are going to use? You say you bought those TFS, you going to use those or sell them?

I'd run the hi-ram if you can fit it or just use an ls3. Or go big and run a sheetmetal.

Here she is:

Funny story about nitrous and her since you're pup got into the stuff also; Athena was in the truck with me when I went to get a bottle refilled and was in the truck when I came out with it. I set it inside the truck and she didn't even take any notice to it. I put it in the opposite side of the truck as me (regular cab) and as I went to walk around to the driver's side it fell over and the **** hit the shifter and opened it. I honestly thought the burst disc went off the way it was going and my poor dog was literally up on her hind legs plastered against the window and back of the seat lol. I turned it off and checked her for chemical burns and she had none, but she will not go anywhere near a nitrous bottle now lol.

lol, the way she looked at that bottle the entire way home, and how she was pretty much sitting in my lap trying to stay as far away from that bottle the ride home was even funnier. If I pick one up to move it she takes one look at it and goes the opposite direction. She's spoiled and shouldn't be allowed on furniture, but she is very loyal. Anyways enough thread hi-jack.

Well if you use the ls3 intake. It will offset the use of lsa heads and cancel each other out

Think you could get to 3,125lbs race weight? OEM 4-Bolt Block, No IC, Cast Aluminum Intake, and E85 with some big f'ing injectors would be sweet.

Edit: Martin's Pit looks exactly like mine, minus color lol.

Well i didn't do as much as i wanted to today, but there isn't a single wire left in the car now

I did get ahold of Eric at Midwest Chassis and scheduled my car to go there the first week of march. 8.50 cert cage, new windshield (lexan), Cowl cut back and firewall redone, strut towers tied to cage bars, and removeable front end. Should be really nice when done and hopefully will bring the weight down where its needed.
