Default Confused on which block for boost?

Hey guys Iam planning on a twin turbo LSX to go into my Mustang more street than strip car and been doing alot of reading on here trying to figure out what block to start out with. I was planning on buying a LSX block and go 427ci but somethings I read about them that by the time the block comes out of the machine shop it will cost almost as much as a ERL or getting close to a RHS block? Also I keep reading about the core shifting issues with the LSX block? Its just hard for me to spend 5k on a block from RHS but the weight savings would be nice. Looking to make as much power as I can on pump and meth 1k if I can and as much as it will make on race gas for the fun outtings lol. Also cant decide on a tall deck or short deck. Most have said short deck but is the tall deck and extra cubes worth it? Thanks guys

That extra 2500.00 from the cost difference of the block I would put towards a killer set of heads .. In your application a 100 pounds is not going to make a bit of difference .

LME built me a 434 LSX block that I have twin GT35R's on and it's awesome.

Thats what I was thinking, I figured I would get a set of All Pro heads and LSX block instead of a 5k block.

How much power are you guys putting down with your boosted 427's or larger?

Hey guys I just got off the phone with Brian at LME and what a nice guy! He helped me pick out a engine package and it sounds like a great one indeed. Look forward to working with him on this project!
