ive been throwing around the idea of putting my lq4 in my 71 monte drag car and throwing a turbo on it, the car has a transbrake in it and a 3600 stall converter so im not too concerned about spooling a turbo up at the track but i would like for it to spool on the street from a roll halfway decently too. but anyways i was thinking of running this turbo on my lq4 with probably a small cam and either an ls1 or ls6 intake on it but other than that leaving the motor stock and using truck manifolds with a custom fabbed crossover pipe

the goals for the car would be to run mid 9's in the 1/4 and it weighs about 3450. it has 4.10 gears in the rear right now but i would probably change them to 3.42s or something close to that so it wouldnt run out of top end

the car used to run high 10.70s at 128-129 with a 1.37 60ft with a nitrous small block in it and on 30x9 slicks but id really like to run a 275 radial on it

i was also wondering what size wastegate id need to run and if 2 340lph pumps would support the power needed for a 3450lb car to run 9's, thanks guys

That turbo would work well.

A Precision 46 would control the boost. If your like me the boost just gets left on high anyway.

2 340's would would also do the job.
