v7 ysi not making boost
the single plate bracket will flex massively, and you basically HAVE to use a manual tensioner. I had a 10 rib and it would still slip a little even with the manual tensioner and dual 3/16" plate bracket.
Using the 7.8 and 3.12 pullies I would get about 16# out of my YSi on a built 355 at 6800rpm. With a 2.75 pulley it would make just over 20#
Also on the LT1 cars the suction line and filter are a massive restriction. If it isnt as big as possible and very efficient it wont make any boost. with the 3.12 pulley and a crappy suction side i could gain 4# by running the blower with no tube or filter
And yes, between the bracket flex and the tensioner you are getting some serious belt slip

thats about it, anyway it made 710whp at one point, when I switched to the 10 rib and went SD I made a few pulls and it was making 570whp or so with teh AFR below 10.0, 15* timing. Lots of belt slip it was making around 12#
Made the new brackets and such and never dyno'd again, but on the 3.12 pulley I was around 700whp making 14-16#
Guy that has it now has a 2.75 pulley and it makes around 20#, maxxed out 65# injectors on gas so somewhere in the 800whp area
