5.3 turbo

just got a 5.3 out of a 2001 tahoe for free. it has 56k on it, im new to this ls stuff i usually just build sbc stuff. it has i believe 862 heads if that the right number. question is im looking to put my 76mm turbo on it around 15 lbs of boost on e85 most likly. what simple motor modifications should i make valve springs, head gaskets ,head studs. not looking to build another race car ive been there already just looking for a weekend worrior to put in my 62 falcon. thanks in advance.

i was thinking of just doing ls9 head gaskets. arp head studs and ls6 valve springs and some arp rod bolts. and obviously up grading the fuel system.

All that actually sounds pretty good, I'm doing a 5.3 as well

yeah im still new to this LS stuff but im not looking for another race car something that can hold its own and not make my wife wanna kill me. lol

ls9 gaskets, brian tooley dual valve springs, ls6 cam, kmj head studs. if you want a little more protection, do ls2 timing chain and comp pushrods. no need for rod bolts unless your spinning past 6500. you'll have yourself an easy 600hp falcon, sounds like a ******* blast
