holy ****!! thats some innovative thinking there. i love the way that setup looks with the turbo right up front. i have been pondering how to put my turbos somewhere up front. it looks super bad ***

hey i was wondering if you used floor plates on your cage for inside the cab? i just read last night on the nhra rules that it has to be mounted directly to the frame on all for courners. i finished most of my cage but i used floor plates so im thinking about solid mounting the cab

thats gotta be a pain in the *** to have to redo it. im looking at mine now and it would be too difficult. the plates are directly above the front mounts

Your best bet would be to weld outriggers to the sides of the frame and mount there. Then you will be able to avoid the cab mounts. Just make the outriggers out of similar size steel as the frame. Then the Nhra will consider it "frame" mounted.

Well finally got some work done on the truck. Getting close to taking it back apart for paint and finally assembly. Next is finish strut bars and complete mounting the rack and finish steering shaft. Any ways on to the pics!!

What are the dimensions of the rad? Gonna run some kind of filter on the turbo? Looking good.

Do you know if the rad will cool sufficiently in hot weather or have you gone through this before. Hope is rips for you. I am sure it will. 5.3s seem to make lots of steam.

probably going to start around 12-14 and work my way up to 18-20. The high side will be on race gas so hoping for some good numbers.
