inlet pipe size?

inlet pipe size? I'm running an s480 turbo with no intercooler on a ls3 headed 6.0. My inlet pipe will be 8 inches long. Should I use 3 inch or 4 inch diameter pipe?
Are you talking about the inlet that fresh air comes into the turbo then goes out the discharge? Ifso, the borg has a 5" inlet, and as David said, i would not go smaller.
But, since you are asking about 3" or 4" im thinking you might be talking about the discharge, if it was me and its that short, i would do whatever size i had available to me, 3" works fine but going to 4" wont hurt anything.
