4 lbs of boost, you must not feel it coming until 4500 rpm! Bob

I was thinking the same thing. I've got the 4.13 pulley and auto. Prolly will throw the 3.90 on this winter.

Finally got to the track with my car!

Only ran 1/8, just wanted to go straight on my first passes lol

Car made 805 rwhp @ 14 psi, race weight 3700
Th400

Best 6.48 @ 113

I ran off the footbrake and on the transbrake.

Footbrake pass:

Reac. 0525
60' 1.74
660 mph 113.39
Time 6.56

Transbrake pass
Reac .116
60 1.42
MPH 113.29
Time 6.48

Do you guys think I should have dropped a lot more ET off the transbrake pass since I bettered my 60' by 3 tenths?? Surely my car has alot more in it versus a 6.48. I think I need another converter.

Yes you should have. When you drop 3 tenths off your 60ft time, it should of made a huge difference in your overall 1/8 time. You mentioned the converter, does it feel like you're driving through it? Meaning, it's slipping and can't handle the power? Is it a triple disc? Bob

The last pass I went off the transbrake and 2 step at 3900. At the top of 2nd, it almost felt like a clutch slipping. It also wouldnt go into 3rd so I aborted the pass. I know its a 9" but not sure on the disk. Going to bring my new dyno sheet to the guy who built it. He built the current converter off of my 700hp dyno graph when i had the 6 speed. So im making just a tad bit more power now haha.

It sounds like you are driving through the converter, which would make a huge difference in the times if you get a good converter in there. You get what you pay for in torque converters. ATI Performance Products, Coan and Neal Chance make some of the best torque converters. Bob

Mods in sig. Made an 11.1 @ 126mph pass last night with a 1.60 60ft....Car was street tuned and hasn't been dynoed yet so i'm not sure how much power it makes. Race weight is 3760 with half a tank of gas without me in it....

I'm hoping to get my car back to the dyno for a final tune and then hit the track this spring to see how fast I can go best so far was 11.25 N/A with stock internals........new setup is just adding a D1 and switching intakes from a fast 90/90 to a LS6 w/stock TB hoping to be 475-525 rwhp .
