Default First turbo build

Like the title says, this is my first turbo car I have owned and driven.
The car was finished up at a local shop due to the lack of space, tools, and the know how on my part.. It wasn't what I wanted it to happen but it was easier to do it right the first time by a shop that knows what there doing. I was able to learn from them so it wasn't all that bad. The car put down 680rwhp/638 wrtq @ 12 psi on a conservative tune

Update. Just Got the car back last week from the shop. Im having a slight over heating issue when driving the car "think its due to not having a turbo blanket and all the heat under the hood not having anywhere to go", so I added a turbo blanket and a 160 degree thermostat. I also added an alky control methanol kit cause I wanted more power, the retune netted me 721/690 at the wheels. If anybody has any tips or tricks to help keep temps down under the hood It'll be much appreciated.

Im using a universal griffin radiator and a set of flex-a-lite puller fans that have been made into pushers, so I don't know if thats part of the problem or not plus I kept a/c so the condenser is between the fans and radiator. As far as boost goes im only at 12psi with meth

A fan shroud may help or fans that are actual pushers. How many CFM are your fans rated for?

They are 2500 each. With my setup I was able to get everything in with out having to cut up the radiator support. If this doesn't help Ill stand up the radiator make the puller fans a true puller fan and add a single pusher up front

Update, after battling a slight over heating problem we had traced it to a broken water pump shaft, also found it needed head gaskets to be on the safe side.. Once the heads were off we discovered the #5 cylinder sleeve had dropped 2-3 thousandths and #4&6 had begun to drop. Was not the news I wanted to hear to end a week but o well.. So life must go on, the new engine is going to be an iron block 383 being built as we speak.. Hoping to have back and running some time next month and back on the hunt for 10's..
