New crossmember for more exhaust clearance.

Modded gas pedal for cable.

After ceramic coating.

Finishing up the console. Wrapped in leather.

Narrowed dana 60. I'm gonna make a triangulated 4-link setup.

Attempt at CPP C5 spindle & brake kit. If you're thinking of trying this kit, DON'T.
Not unless you want to buy new wheels or run huge wheel spacers. Their product description is way off. Nowhere near the stock clearances. These are headed for the landfill.

What is it that doesn't fit right looking to get on of these kits? What r you going to do with your kit? I am starting from scratch on my build and I don't have my rims ordered yet but am getting ready to order them in the next couple weeks.

Well for one thing, there is absolutely no caliper clearance.
You'd have to run a huge wheel spacer to get out past these calipers.
See stock setup on the left, vs the CPP kit on right.

Man...I really REALLY fought that same C5 vette kit on my 69. Lots of machining and custom work later and it works great. It should come with a disclaimer minimally about the work and machining that needs done

4 link came out perfect. 100% hand-built by me and it works flawless. It was a big job, but well worth it..

Do you have any examples or pictures of the machining you had to do to make the kit fit?
I am really wanting to make this kit work on my Nova.

Was this a question for me? I didn't use a kit. I hand-fabricated my whole setup.

Yes, it was a question for you. But I think there may be some confusion. CPP has a spindle and brake kit that replaces the taper bearing spindle with a new spindle and a C5 sealed hub assembly with C5 rotors and calipers.
The kit does require new style 17"+ wheels though, as they are attempting to mimic the corvette front axle rather than the old style wheels.

OH...got it! I thought you guys were referencing a C5 turbo kit. Yes I did try the spindle kit and the caliper sticks out waaay farther than a stock caliper...thus hitting the center part of the wheel. CPP was horrible about it, and made me pay $95 to return it. I swapped for their stock replacement kit, with drilled/slotted rotors (stock size) and wilwood D52 calipers.
