Keeping A/C in new turbo build.
I have been looking at the placement of everything. Keeping the A/C is a must. How do you guys vertically mount the a/c condenser? Can you get by just straightening the lines or do you need to replace them? It looks like the only line that would have issues is the pipe w/ the orphice tube in it. I've attached a picture.

Where I live in Tulsa, there is a shop that does custom A/C lines. There should be a place around you that would do the same. Also if you need a different drier, you could go to an auto parts store and find another drier that has different inlet/outlet locations. Doesn't really matter if you are getting lines custom made anyway. I am going with one that has a straight inlet on the top and the bottom of the drier and mounting it under my front bumper.

My builder sent my upper ac line to get lengthened, it turned out nice. I believe it was a place in Texas that did it. He also mounted my factory condenser to a Griffen radiator. And mounted them almost completely vertical. I also have 2 derale 12" fans mounted on the condenser pushing threw both of them. The car runs at 210 degrees, but I have yet to try driving it with the ac on.

What fans do you plan on using? Fans are going to make or break you in the whole ac game.
L92 fox, your probably going to over heat once you turn the ac on and are stuck in traffic

Yeah unfortunately it gets really hot here in Arizona. I haven't decided exactly what fans I'm going to use. I think I am going to try to put some space in between the condenser and the radiator and use a pusher on the condenser and a puller on the radiator. Definitely duals on each. I have a feeling that overheating will be a big issue.
