No injectors as big as mine are not needed I just got a great deal, and my goals always go farther and farther. I may be pushing 1400rwhp one day for all I know.

No, I would not let my tank run dry on the e85. It does make the pumps alot hotter and shortens the lifespan when you run them below half a tank. The fuel keeps recirculating past the rails and heating up.

You do have a valid point though about mixing them. Honestly that has never crossed my mind.

I will look into it you can bet your *** on that. I would say get at least 120lbs tho. 80's will prob get close to the max DC

Helps the A2A out and really does a nice job keeping the internals clean

I just spray one 5gpm nozzle, so that it doesnt make a notable difference on my AFR if for some reason the water quits. Only .3 difference whether spraying or not

Soo what would you guys recommend for my project that should make anywhere from 800-900RWHP? I want to use E85 but im not sure of what injectors to run... No trying to thread jack lol jusy asking instead of starting a new thread.

160lb's. Eventually youll try to hit 1000. I bought FIC injectors. Its the same injectors as more expensive brand names, but the model numbers are not scratched off. Flowed on the flow bench the same, and they come highly recommended by alot of people including Vengeance Racing.

It has been speculated on many other threads that the 50/50 combo like snow's Boost Juice puts out the flame. Alot of them choose to run the 100% methanol for just the increased safety, and with e85 that would make the most sense, since, the e85 burns cooler anyways. But with 93 you want the cooling effect as well, without putting it out. I have just pretty much assumed the best solution would be to buy straight methanol, and measure it out to an 80/20 mixture or somewhere in that region. Half water is just a little much.

Thanks for the reply bud. How much increase do you see from running 93 to running straight E85? I heard its a big difference obviously for the higher octane. Is there a "high" risk for detonation on running E85 on boosted applications?

I also made a purchase of Snow's water meth system about 3 months ago with some extra boost juice to the side thats still sitting at home until my bird gets running, should I sell the kit and run straight E85 or install it and run the system with the boost juice until it runs out? soo that way I can run straight meth.

Sorry for all the questions lol Im just trying to learn from some of you guys before making my final decision.

160lb injectors, E85 from the pump, wal-mart windshield washer fluid for water/meth kit (66 percent water and 33 percent alcohol) It drops my IAT's at least 50 degree's. With the meth and E85 I have spiked to 30lbs and settled to 25lbs on a 180,000 completely stock 5.3. Still holding together. Right now I have it at 15lbs and don't use the meth. If I go above 15lbs I will have the meth kick on at 15lbs. Mine is activated by my key switch on the column. Works great so far but still learning and trying to push the limits of the 5.3.

Freggin sweet! What fuel system pump/setup are you running? I plan on using a fuel cell for my meth, some people even run individual fuel systems that with a touch of a switch they can switch to different fuels.

I run 2 A1000 fuel pumps. The first one runs all the time and the second one is activated by a hobbs switch when I hit 5lbs of boost. They are "Y" together with a one way check valve on the second pump. My kit came with a 3 quart cannister that I mounted in the trunk. I like to keep as much weight in the rear of the vehicle as I can.

I have yet to dyno my car. I am not doing it for the power necessarily. I am doing it for the safety. I will run moderate timing and bump it at the track. Turn it back down on the way home. It helps with detonation prevention tremendously. It also produces a bigger combustion that 93. Take some alcohol, and put it in a small bowl and set the fumes on fire. Run your hand over it. Do the same with gas (if you can) and run your hand over that. There are other neat experiments you can do that show the other characteristics and properties of the two fuels. The e85 is boss.

I will be running twin 340 aeromotives in the tank. That will get me to 1000 or a little over.

Badass fuel setup. I wont be needing that big of system on my car, I guess just one pump for everything will do it for me lol unless I run smaller twin fuel pumps.

Interesting input. Hope it goes good on your project. Pretty much running Meth with E85 is more of a engine detonation prevention kind of mixture than HP gains right?
