couple questions
1. whats the compression of your motor?
2. What fuel are you running?

Enjoyed reading through this thread. Nice setup, more so the fact that you drive it!

compression is ~9.3:1 (using -11cc dish pistons, stock 317's, ls9 gaskets)

fuel is 93 octane and over 10psi i spray methanol (two 14gpm nozzles about 8" before the throttle body)

that has always been a requirement of this build, i don't want a "race car"

i am running out of turbo so it can't keep the boost up throughout the build, it peaks around 24 and falls to 20 throughout the rpm range. going to step up to the s480 billet and probably run 24 throughout.

Awesome job buddy. Building about the same thing. I was like "thats it right there". after I read your post about passing the "Race Car" you just out run on the trailer!!! Exactly what I am shooting for.
My 408 has the GT47-88. Being told the .96AR will be too small. Also after seeing what you are doing, I am considering a glide over the TH400. With your gears what RPM can you cruise at?
Thanks
Michael
