Default Headgasket Qs

I'm going to be running a Turbo 5.3 setup.. and there are two styles of head gaskets to choose from.. standard and the mls factory head gaskets. I've read that certain heads have to use the standard style hg, and some use the MLS style. How do I tell which heads run which? If you were to suggest a hg for me, which would it be?

i use the stock 34 dollar ls1 head gasket set, you get two for 34 dollars and it works really well
i have also re-used it 4 times now and its still holding up fine.

I'd do the LS9 HGs, not that much more, and will be better in the long run.

Bump up.

I'm going to reask the OP's question. I too have a 5.3 that I am needing to order head gaskets for. This will see high rpm and plenty of boost, I am using studs. I would prefer a set with a smaller bore size to help keep the compression up. What set would be best suited for this? Also does anyone have the part number and cost for the ls9's? Denmah do you have a part number and how are those constructed?
