Default Need help picking turbo

Ok guys and gals I need a little help picking out a turbo for my build. Here is a run down of the car and old set up...

APS Twin Turbo kit
stock ls1 66k miles and small turbo cam, PRC dual springs, titanium retainers
FLT Level 4 4L80E w/ Vacuum modulator
PI 3600 stall
Moser 12 bolt, 3.73's, full spool, aluminum cover, 1350 yoke
Drive shaft rated for 1000 hp
Weld Pro Stars, 325/50-15 MT Drag Radials screwed in, MT front runners
BMR sub frames
Spohn chrome-moly LCA's w/ spherical rod ends - adjustable
Spohn drag anti sway bar
BMR adjustable PHR
BMR T/A
BMR transmission x-member
Competition Engineering rear drag shocks
Strange double adjustable front shocks
BMR tubular k-member
SJM manufacturing line lock / ABS delete
Dual 255 fuel pumps, FAST rails, rail mount regulator, 60 lb injectors
Alchy control meth kit
LPE 2 step
A pillar gauge pod w/ boost, trans temp, and wide band AFR gauge
LC1 wide band with HP tuners
Wolfe bolt in 6 point roll bar
5 point harness

This was leaving off of the footbrake, the 2-step couldn't hook which would be 5lbs of boost off the line. The tires would just go up in smoke. The DA was around 1,500ft and car weighed 3,800lbs

Reaction----- .0260
60 ft----- 1.5034
330 ft---- 4.2052
1/8 et---- 6.5080
1/8 mph---- 106.48

Now for the changes, the car now has a LQ4 with a TSP 224/228 .581 .588 LSA 113 installed straight up with 317 heads, and a victor jr with elbow/ 92mm TB and ID1000 injectors. It also now weighs in at about 3,300lbs. I switched the APS set up and now have reversed truck manifold set up with a T4. My goals are street/strip car but mostly strip. Not to worried about lag, but will see some street driving. I'm not to worried about hp goals more worried about track times. Now the above time was done with 585rwhp on a mustang dyno with meth and 10lbs of boost. I'm looking for a mid to low 9 sec car. I was running 10.4 @ 131 with old set up. Now some of the turbos I've been looking at are the BW S480 and a GT76/92. Please let me know if I'm in the right ball park, also looking for a turbo that I can grow into once the LQ4 is tired plan on doing a 370. Again thanks for any info and I'm ready to learn. Let me know if anymore info is needed.

Thanks,

Rob

You're doing exactly what I did then. lol Had the APS kit on my car, and just got tired of all the BS with it. So I sold the kit and I am running N/A right now while I save up the money to go truck manifolds and 88mm front mount.

Good luck with your build.

P.S. Since you asked I would recommend the S480. I still cannot believe how cheap that turbo is for how much power it can make.

Bang for Buck its simply the best Turbo out there. They're very reliable and efficent. The big turbine will allow you room to grow if/when you forge the motor.

No problem with the APS, just up the cubes of my motor so going a different route for FI. I was happy with a 10.4 car in street trim with AC. Now I have another street car so I decided to build this one up.

Pm you on price, and yes the internals were bone stock. The only engine mods were a turbo cam similar to LS6 cam and valve springs.
