When i switched to a full open exhaust I couldn't keep it under 20+ psi opposed to it only creeping to around 16psi with full exhaust.
So if I were to install another 44mm on the other side of the merge and keep the one on there now, run two that way would that work ok?

I would just move the one you have to the other side of the merge.

Thats weird (Slow94Formula) his is on the same side as mine. The gate comes out of the merge and faces the crank pulley and his worked fine. So are you saying I need to put it facecing the radiator?

I assume your RX7 is what you take. If I ever see you out I will swing over and say hi. I was just looking through some of the build threads and found this.

Same exact wastegate location as mine. Has the same bend and everything. I didnt read anything about boost control problems. However he is running a smaller turbo. **** its always worth a shot.

Well I was able to get a little bit done last night. I removed the intake to install the versafueler just to make it easier on myself. So I finished installing that.

Then put everything back together. I also had a chance to finish up a coupler of small things. I installed my new trans lines to cooler up front. Put in trans fluid, engine oil, coolant. I have to wire in my fuel gauge, boost gauge, oil temp gauge, get a little more vac line for the reg and boost gauge. I think at that point I am ready to download the 2 bar OS and input injector data and I hope to have fire in the hole really soon. I might take a day or two off because I am a little burnt out of working on it. Oh I also have to wire my second fuel pump to a relay and the hobbs switch. I ended up mounting the vac distribution block to the ac delete plate. I will get some pictures of it. I think it looks pretty good. I couldnt find a good place for that thing haha. I also order up a rear seat and belts for the back so I can take my boys on some cruises this summer. I am excited that its getting closer.

That setup is going to make well north of 700 on 15lbs. Local car is running a pt88 at that boost level on E85 with a decent cam and it made well over 700 through a th400. stock internals too. just saying this incase it has an influence on whehter or not you rebuild the kit for wastegate placement

Awesome build

Thanks! That sounds like where I would like to be haha. I am going to try with gate there and see what it does. I will be posting results when that time comes. I am so damn excited to wrap this up and start tuning (weather permiting). I think that there will be enough cold weather left here My old man and me might repaint the car also. It has a few marks on it from the years. Do you know what motor and heads he is running and what cam specs are? Just for kicks.

Thanks guys! Well it's so cold out here tonight I decided to have a couple beers and work in front of my tv haha. I rounded up my gauges I bought and triple pod that I ordered and decided to get that part done. I ordered prosport premium halo gauges and I'm pretty impressed so far. They have a a cool feature that let's you link the gauges so you only end up wiring one gauge for all three. They have three different colors I can switch from and also have recall and warning settings on them. They are blacked out until powered on but my flash shows otherwise. Wonder if I can find something else to do now haha. Here ya go.

They have the protective film on them so they look blurry..

Seeing how I'm putting my stock seats back in I figured I would steam clean them. Sense my front garage is heated I didn't have to get cold. It's -10 here tonight.

Nice work. That's a interesting place for a gate. I will not be getting anything done tonight as its -18 and -30 with windchill haha. So I stoked a fire in the house cracked a beer and will be lurking around tech.

So I went to start the car last night after finishing everything up and you know it ( NO GO ). Here is what I have going on maybe some can shed some light on this. Fuel pump primes, car cranks over fine. I have not had a chance to check for spark yet. I will try that today when I get off work. But its thowing a theft deterrent code. Here is what I did to the sense the last time it ran fine that could possibly cause this?

Wired in versafueler
Took out viper alarm system that bugged me from day one
moved wires from pass side of car to fender well ( required moving grounds )

Those are all I can think of. Can I bypass this? It says theft deterrent fuel cutoff. So I am assuming its not getting fuel. THe fuel pump primes but Im sure it shuts of the injectors or something or the sort. Any help would be great. I would love to get this up and running this weekend.
