To keep from cocking up Chub's thread here is a link to my build thread on LSX nation http://lsxnation.net/forum/showthrea...t-Ricky-Bobby! The rear end went in post #3. I haven't installed the uppers yet but I can get you pictures when I do ,maybe tonight. Just to be clear those springs are just sitting on the axle. I am going to install coilovers so there is no reason to put spring perches on. Just let me know if there is anything specific you want pictures of. I intend to do a build thread here but will wait until I am further along. We dont need anymore 2 year long build threads here

What motor in the cutty? I looked at the iceman crossmembers. Looks like a nice unit. To many people found them to flex, for my liking. That g-force is 30 lbs! No flex there. lol Hopefully it goes on good.
I have a 5.3 out of an 02 silverado going in. Plan to get it to the track NA this season. Then turbo it next winter.

I didnt get the iceman crossmember I figured that was easy enough to fab up. I got the iceman adjustable upper control arms. They have a heim joint on the car side which is what makes them work. I think you can also just use spherical ears on the diff and use Mustang upper control arms. These were relatively inexpensive compared to the baseline kit and from my research they should be just fine into the 9's. The baseline kit helps fix the instant center issue because the upper arms are at weird angles with the 8.8. This is a track only car so I am not too terribly worried about it right now.

Appreciate it. lol Nice! Thats crazy how low you have into it so far. Im right there with ya. I wanted a sleeper but the sump, 10 pt, and 28x 10.5s kick that in the ***. lol
I can take pics of mine if you need. Its got qa1's on it.
The 9 inch is already built in it. Just have to swap gears. Its got a mini spool.

Just a quick update.
Started putting my new SS brake line kit on. Got all but the driverside and rear brake lines done. Replaced the rubber line, calipers, and pads on the passanger side. Also got my 40.00 ebay special, aluminum prop valve. I was worried I was spending money that I didn't need to. Then after the driverside line broke off with out me even wrenching on it. I knew I made the right choice. lol

Nice lines. Ive give them a good B+ so far on bolting on as a kit.

Been getting some stuff done. Trying to plan out the fuel system. Wanting to put my reg on the rail. Might be tight thow.

Where does the rubber line from the front steam ports go?? Its in my way. Do I need that line or can I block it off?

Just an update.
Motor and tranny are in the car. The G-FORCE crossmember went in like a glove!

I dont know what the point of this spacer is. It was on the motor when I got it. It blocks off the right side hole, I guess you would call it. I hope it does hurt in anyway. The threads on the elbow aren't the best, I found out. I ran nuts on the back side except for the top bolt. Is this spacer a good idea? lol
