Forged 6.0 iron block buildup
Would you leave all of that alone to have the compression ratio low and turn up ther boost.
I should be able to get the heads to flow more without milling them to raise the compression ratio. I was looking at getting the 6.0 heads with the 317 castings.
What do you guys think?
Thanks
Low comp pistons w/big CC heads, 6.0L would be the best bet, 9:1 total comp, its a nice way to go

If I had to do it over again, I would go lower than 9:1, just so pump gas could be thrown back into the factor
That .030 over bore 6.0L block is exactly what i did....... I had AP Engineering build my short block and i went with 6.0L heads and 6.0L MLS head gaskets for my procharger setup...... heres some pics of mine with coated pistons.

I am looking for some conencting rods, pistons and rings and some bearings for the engine.
The block I have is a bare block and I will need all internals to build it up strong. I was
thinking about some billet main caps. I am going blower so I would like the dished pistons to keep my compresion ratio to about 8.5. I want forged parts that can handle up to 20 pounds of boost.
