got the front end back together and the car on the ground
thinking about slipping this over a sheetmetal box and sticking some gauges in it on the dash

worked on turbo placement today, think i found a spot
exhaust will just exit out fender, ordered my 2in hotside piping and vbands saturday, radiator, intercooler and manual rack should be here this week

its not going as fast as id like lol its nice i get to work on it about 4hrs a day when i have school, but also sucks at times not being able to work on it on the weekend or when i dont have school like last thurs/fri cuz of snow since its an hour drive for me. as long as its driving by mid summer ill be happy! hoping for track passes mid to late summer

sorry about that, now im glad i didnt tho. i actually got screwed by the shipping place, they would never call me back and with working 6-noon then school from 1-6 it was just hard to get shipping qoutes. i pretty much looked for somthing to build just because i had this k member lol

radiator and intercooler in place, need to bolt down upper rad brackets, and make lower intercooler brackets, u can also see the lower rad support i bent up out of 1 3/4
got the hotside done with the exception of my wastegate which im hoping to do tomm
was planning to have it tigged since ive never tried to tig but decided i didnt wanna wait so i just migd it, could of been better, a bandsaw would have been nice but o well im pretty pleased with how my first hotside came out will learn from my mistakes and try again on the next project i picked up for my brother in law, 96 s10 used to be a 6.0l nitrous truck, its caged with a moser 9 and coilovers in rear etc, plans are a 5.3 with cam,springs,studs, turbo (not sure what yet maybe the gt45 with the bigger compressor??) th400 or th350 etc etc

this week is spring break at school so no work getting done on the fairmont, this week ill be working on my other 4 door project my 66 cadillac
and another car in the shop thats getting a 5.3 is my bosses sons 54 chevy

started on the exhaust the other day, pulled all heat and ac stuff out of it yesterday, only a couple pieces short on cold side piping, anyone know what size couple for cold side coming off turbo?

engine bay painted with hok kandy rootbeer
threw the interior back in
waiting on my cut down oil pan to be welded, putting the motor/ tranny back in tomm. car has to be out of school by friday.
the s10 project has the cam, valve springs, and head gaskets changed and motor/trans sitting in it, hopfully get some more done on it this weekend and start mocking things up
