yeah 88/83 is one of the only ones with a large enough turbine to do it

So on the VS Racing website, where do you go to upgrade the turbo? The VS Racing "Denmah" kit does not have a default to change the turbo selection. Also, how much extra is it to upgrade to the 88/83?

Sounds like something a phone call to VS could answer.
I don't say this to be harsh, but he isn't the only one with answers around here. He already gives so much to us.

Got it.
Again, I didn't mean to sound overly corrective.

you can swap any of the parts out for anything else, definitely easiest way is to call him on the phone and see what he has around and how much it will affect the price

I ordered the Denmah kit a few months ago and upgraded to the 88mm billet turbo. I had to call to place the order and I think it was like $300 more.

has anyone ran the on3 T88? Doing a 5.3 with springs, cam and pushrods, would it be possible to make 650+ with that turbo and motor combo. any suggestions?

I didn't realize the 88/83 was billet, or that you had that option. You're talking about upgrading to the billet wheel, correct? I wonder how much extra HP that upgrade is worth over the non-billet wheel?

I went and doublechecked. I got the GT45 80mm billet compressor - not the 88. It is this one:

Damn, I wish I knew that was an option also. We ordered my buddies for his 5.3 Fox body and thought we had to buy it with the small turbo and buy a larger turbo separate and sell the small one.

Denmah.
What is your opinion of a stock unported ls2 manifold on a 4.8/5.3 w around 25-30psi build?
I've always put these to the side on turbo builds. Always going for the ls6 or non egr ls1 intakes. Or even the fugly truck intakes
But I'm willing to give it a shot.
Any experience w em??? On a big boost 4.8/5.3

the hp vs the intakes are not that big of a difference as far as i have seen, sure some do better than others marginally, but just use what you have, what fits, or what works (all encompassing)

25-30psi is arbitrary, everything depends on power you will be making or what to make, dont base any math on PSI

always call him on the phone his stock is always varying, also if you call him you can ask if he has scratch and dent items for cheaper if you are really looking for penny pinching options

I've seen where a lot of you don't run a BOV with injection, what about blow thru? I'll be running a auto trans. Also, what size nozzle on meth injection on a 6.0 with around 750 rwhp? I was considering building my own, I have a supply of push loc fittings and line, Devil's own seems to have a good price on some of the small stuff.

Thanks again Matt!
Yesterday I ordered 2 micro(mega) squirts LS packages from mike(?) at EFI SOURCE,
Along with some sensors and a 3 bar map's.....

And armed with the confidence you gave me a few weeks ago I did a 4l80e shift kit that is
Working great!

So next is the MS3 install! Along with some Turbo action.

I'm currently building an MS3+MS3X because I already had a lot of the parts from prior projects. If that wasn't the case though, I would DEFINITELY be grabbing up one of the Gold Box MS3s with pigtail. What a good deal for what you get!

Is that what you prefer Matt, assuming it's a build with all of the bells and whistles where a micro won't quite cut it?

I finally found the thread I've been needing. . . . thanks for the info everyone. Hopefully I'll get some insight from others on what to do with my build.
