Ill call Dusty tomorrow- It was more than what a few people have mentioned here for their PTC but that doesn't mean anything I guess.

Tried using a local guy who does converters all over the southeast.

maybe a 2000hp Nitrous car with a glide is easier to build a converter for than a 4.8 Turbo.....

Here is a video of my car with a loose ATI convertor. I had a kid video. Sorry about that.

Here it is with everything else the same but after the convertor swap to PTC. Watch how shocked my friends are when they see the time clock.

In my opinion that converter doesn't sound that tight, I would look into the tune to make sure your getting the best spool possible. Plus it will raise your stall speed if you can build more boost at a lower rpm.

Getting a converter to stall 3000 rpm at 0-1psi and be very tight up top is possible. I have spec'd alot of these for the LS and Buick V6 guys.

What's the rest of the combo? Stock 4.8? What heads and intake? What are you using for tuning?

First thing I noticed when you posted a pic was how far that oil pan hangs LOL.

Think you need to look at the timing in your tune. I have 3.08 in my 4100lb 1981T/A. Had to get a better stall, I had a 2800 JEGs, but blew thru it, got a TCI3300 stall car gained 10mph. Also insatlled a 2step, and car 60ft better the more I let boost build on 2step! Have ran 5.3 6.0 with a similar turbo.
