I decided today to redo my kit. I was going to put it in the grill but I would have change up everything. So here is my new placement

Did you cut your frame rail? Wont that effect the rigidity of the car?

Yes to make some room. I've welded and cut on that rail so many times changing my turbo kit it wasn't doing much good. But yeah it does effect rigidity but that's why I bent some roll cage pipe to brace It back up . If you'll notice in the pic above.

Got a little work done on my trans crossmember . Turned out alot nicer than I planned . I used some old 69 nova solid motor mounts and some old roll cage tubing for my 4l80 crossmember . Not bad for a days work. Didn't buy anything just used a little gas in the mig.

Got my crossmember made . Had some solid motor mounts that I cut up and made some tabs to fit the crossmember for tha 4l80e. And bolted my old crossmember up that I had on my glide. Had to do a little hammering on the floor for clearance but no big deal.

Interested to see how you like the "baby" hotside on the 6.0. I just redid mine in 2" as well, left it divided though. Trying a 370 this year.
