Procharger
Procharger i have a 1989 formula firebird with tpi, and i have the d1 procharger with 3 core intercooler, the charger has about 400 miles on it cause i cracked the block in my 89 formula, my question is has anyone tried to modify this tpi setup to work on a ls1 if so let me know how you did it and show some pics cause i have a 1998 ramair with a forged short block and heads that i would like to try to put this charger on, i hate to see $4800 worth of ati intercooled boost go to waste sitting in the rear hatch of my 89 formula, any help would be appreciated, give me suggestions on if you would try this swap.
Ati doesnt make a bracket to bolt the d1 to the ls1. You will have tap your pan and find a t for oil to it. good luck making a bracket and pulleys and and and and. I have a d1 kit for a sbc sitting here and talked to ati (who are ******** btw, great customer service wehn you want to buy but after that your on your own.) and they told me touch **** throw it away they can sell me a new p1sc ls1 kit for (enter ridiculous number here)
