Default Scavenge Pump or gravity drain

I'm planning a custom turbo setup in a foxbody. How the hotside is currently sits, the turbo drain hangs about flush with the oil pan, and I'm concerned that the oil won't drain back to the pan efficiently. There are two ways to fit this.. extend the hotside up and in the fender so it can drain, or run a Scavenge Pump to ensure it gets enough oil back.

What option would you prefer? Seems like gravity would be more reliable as it's one less thing to go wrong, leak..

I would move the hot side if you can. Like you said Scavenge pump is one more thing to worry about. My car has a low mount with pump and it hasnt giving me any fits yet but.. If I could change it I would.
